All in a week’s work

It’s been a busy seven days on the photographic front. Plenty of submissions from our excellent regular contributors plus I’ve been out there myself on a range of assignments. Here’s a quick look back at the period from 25th to 31st January 2020.

Gallery – Dagenham & Redbridge vs Notts County – 25th January 2020. Daggers loan signing Alex Reid (above) netted twice as the Victoria Road brigade notched a valuable trio of points under new boss Daryl McMahon.

Gallery – West Ham United Women vs Arsenal Women – 26th January 2020. The Hammers made life difficult for the Gunners but the away side progressed in the FA Women’s Cup courtesy of strikes from Katie McCabe and Lia Walti. Second tier FAWSL outfit Lewes will visIt Meadow Park in the next round.

Gallery – 28th January 2020 – Colchester United vs Swindon Town. A chilly night in North Essex saw Colchester’s unbeaten run extended to sixteen matches. The homesters recovered from a goal down to notch a 3-1 victory and they go into today’s games 5th in the League Two standings.

Gallery – 29th January 2020 – Arsenal Women vs Manchester City Women. For the third successive season Arsenal progressed to the FA WSL League Cup Final after a cagey victory over perennial rivals Manchester City. Chelsea lie in wait in a match that will be played at the City Ground, Nottingham on Saturday 29th February 2020.

Gallery – 31st January 2020 – Redbridge vs Clapton. The Tons ran riot in a 7-2 victory over the Motormen. A first half sending-off did not help the Oakside brigade’s cause and some excellent finishing ensured that the visitors boosted their goal difference while picking up all the points. Oh yes… and ISO 16,000 was required. Cripes.
